Course Overview

In partnership with our colleagues in the Duke Cancer Institute, the Duke Urologic Assembly has expanded to include the Duke Urologic Cancer Symposium previously held as a separate conference.  Join an outstanding roster of Duke and national urologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists participating in a comprehensive scientific program that encompasses leading edge updates on the most effective and efficient diagnoses and treatments in the sub-specialties of urology and urologic oncology.

Healthcare professionals attending this symposium will be engaged through lectures, supplemented with video surgical presentations, interactive panel discussions, and case presentations on the latest evidence-based approaches to managing a wide range of urologic conditions.

Emphasis will be placed on diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic options, management of complications, and the use of new technologies that provide leading edge care to patients.  Furthermore, discussion topics will focus on the future of this viable surgical specialty, highlighting techniques proven successful at Duke University’s state-of-the-art medical center as well as leading medical centers around the country.

This activity is designed to meet the continuing medical education needs of urologic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, research scientists, and nurses in the translation, diffusion, and application of evidence-based knowledge to improve patient safety and enhance clinical outcomes.
